Fashion Police: Suri Cruise's Day-to-Night Look

If you happen to be stuck in a wardrobe rut, look to Suri Cruise for answers.
Today, Suri teaches us how to take one look from daytime to night.
Take this hot pink dress, purple sweater and metallic silver leggings. Sure it works for flying in your helicopter from Boston to New York City (did we mention how relatable Suri is?), but say you want to quickly dress it up for a fancy dinner and night out on the town. How would you do that?

Katie Holmes Gets Romantic…With Anna Paquin?!

Katie Holmes is The Romantics lead.
Mrs. Tom Cruise will temporarily cease being joined at the hip hands with her hubby to replace fellow raven-haired thesp Liv Tyler in the increasingly star-studded indie flick. (Tyler left the film for undisclosed reasons and, no, we don't know what they are.)
Per Variety, the movie centers around eight college friends who reunite for the wedding of coed pal Anna Paquin. Holmes plays the maid of honor who also happens to have had a romantic past with the groom (Josh Duhamel). Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong also star.
The Romantics, which in a bit of creative contracting Holmes will also boss people around on executive-produce, starts shooting this week in New York City.
Now all they need is a killer soundtrack and we're looking at The Big Chill: The Next Generation.

Mary Murphy isn't the only one who would like to see Tom Cruise as a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance.
"Tom loves the show, so I hope so," new permanent judge Adam Shankman says. "I happen to love Tom, and Tom loves dancing, so it would be great."
SYTYCD host Cat Deeley says Cruise already impressed them when wifey Katie Holmes performed on the show last season.
"I'd never met him before so I had no idea what to expect." Deeley remembers. "He was an absolute sweetheart. He was taking videos of his little girl and wife. Just like any guy, he was incredibly proud of his spouse."
Hmmm, does that mean Holmes might make a return engagement?

Well, neither is fame, but Suri's parents have had no problem parading her around in public and in the media since the day she was born. How on earth is Katie Holmes supposed to boost her image as a fashionista without dressing up her 3-year-old like a tiny runway model for an itty-bitty Paris Fashion Week?
I mean what do you want Katie to do, concentrate on her fashion line? Yeesh.
Indeed, high heels were basically designed to make females look sexier. They lengthen the leg and tilt the hips forward. But given that the shoe height on Suri is pretty small, the real issue here may actually be something more serious...

Katie Holmes graces the new issue of Elle in a fabulous dress that could have very easily been picked out by Tom Cruise himself.
"He usually likes everything, but sometimes I'll walk out and he'll say, 'I think that dress might be wearing you. You don't need that,'" she tells the mag. "Tom has great taste."
Speaking of taste, when asked what types of flicks she's into, Katie admits she does have a fondness for fangs.
"I even like vampire movies."
Hmmm, who knows, maybe someday we'll see Katie alongside a certain Twilight highlight. That could be cool, right?

If Katie Holmes can perform on So You Think You Can Dance, then hubby Tom Cruise can certainly be a judge, right?
So says SYTYCD judge Mary Murphy.
"He goes way back to Risky Business doing his thing," says Murphy, referring to Cruise's iconic gyrating underwear dancing. "He was on the hot-tamale train back then!"
She added with a laugh, "That hot tamale can come by anytime."
Also on Murphy's wish list? Justin Timberlake and another certain hottie...

Is Katie Holmes Ready for Sex?

Katie Holmes isn't having Sex after all.
Rumors that Mrs. Tom Cruise would be joining the cast of the Sex and the City movie sequel have officially been squashed.
"Totally fabricated story," Holmes' rep, Ina Treciokas, told E! News of the tall tale sprung by a British tabloid.
At least the buzzed part didn't involve her replacing Jennifer Hudson as Sarah Jessica Parker's lovestruck personal assistant or hooking up with Chris Noth's Mr. Big. Instead, the "fabricated" role was that of a high-powered businesswoman ready to go toe-to-toe with Kim Cattrall's Samantha Jones.
Given Katie's dance last week on So You Think You Can Dance, do you think she was ready to tango with the ladies who brunch?

Right, right. Because when The Mummy franchise traded in Rachel Weisz for Maria Bello, the earth bled, and every Pope who ever lived rose up out of the ground and wept. Don Cheadle is replacing Terrence Howard in the upcoming Iron Man movie, by the way. Just in case you want to stage a sit-in outside the Marvel Comics building and give poor old Stan Lee a coronary.
Now listen. No series has ever died because of a recasting. Terrible directing, sure. But not recasting. In fact—here I go! I'm gonna say it!—the Twilight Saga just might be better off ditching Rachel Lefevre in favor of Bryce Dallas Howard, if history is any indication...
