Pete Wentz Parties While Ashlee Simpson Babysits

The night Ashlee Simpson-Wentz got booted off Melrose Place, she was busy playing her most important role: mommy!
"She's home with Bronx," Pete Wentz explained of Ashlee's absence from last night's Guess? and Vanity Fair party for the Invisible Children charity.
"He has a 101-degree fever. We're just glad it's not swine flu!" he continued.
The freshly shorn rocker was a cohost at the charity fête along with Kristen Bell and Rachel Bilson—which sort of explains why he wasn't home tucking Bronx into bed or consoling his suddenly unemployed wife. Only that wasn't the only party he hit last night...
Jessica to Ashlee: Keep Procreating, Please!
Jessica Simpson talked about having babies this weekend. Well, her sister, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, having babies, that is.
"I want her to have another baby," Jessica said at Ash's 25th birthday celebration on Saturday at the Wet Republic pool in Las Vegas. "I want another nephew or a niece."
The Melrose Place star, along with her big sister, jetted into Sin City on Saturday morning with family and friends, including hubby Pete Wentz and parents Tina and Joe.
Holding court in a private bungalow, Ash was surprised with a three-tiered cake topped with cupcakes.
Not sure if this has anything to do with the not-dating-anyone Jessica, but...

For Fashion's Night Out, New York City had Victoria Beckham, Charlize Theron and Justin Timberlake, while Hollywood got Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz.

Ash and Pete left baby Bronx home for the night when they hit Ron Herman at Fred Segal to hang with fans and score some J Brand jeans.
"They were so cute together and looked really happy," says an eyewitness.
Despite the crowd and cameras, the couple even engaged in some PDA...

What did belts ever do to you, Pete Wentz? Why did you turn your ample tattooed back on such a convenient pants-holding device? Are you raging against the Beltinistas or some such?

Also, as you know, part of being a man is avoiding dressing like Colonel Sanders. So it's time to grow up and put on your big-boy pants, those held up by a tidy strip of leather. Quickly, before li'l Bronx sees this.
Besides, by the looks of the ample ankles you're flashing, it wouldn't hurt if those pants did fall down a little. Or a lot.

Perez's Bad Week Ends in a Jackson Twitter Storm

It's been a bad week for gossip maven Perez Hilton. First, he gets a black eye in an altercation with the Black Eyed Peas' manager, in which Perez admittedly hurled antigay slurs, and after which he was forced to apologize to anyone whom he may have offended. He may have to do that apology thing all over again, because now he seems to have offended all the Michael Jackson fans in the Twitterverse.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are keeping their mouths shut for gay marriage.
The couple are the latest celebs to take part in NOH8, a campaign supporting efforts to overturn Proposition 8.
They were shot by photographer Adam Bouska on Monday with the campaign's signature look: "NOH8" painted on their cheeks and duct tape over their mouths as a symbol of the pro-gay voices not being heard.
Ashlee also holds a wedding veil in the pic.

Nicole Richie is already a mom and designer, but last night, she was moonlighting as a publicist!
Nic cohosted a fashion show along with Pete Wentz and made sure he didn't answer any questions about the alleged fight Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Michelle Trachtenberg got into over him.
"That's not appropriate," she interrupted when I asked about ladies fighting over him.
As for whether he gave the models clad in his Clandestine Industries clothing any advice?

If you're a Nicole Richie fan and live near L.A., the countdown is on to win tickets to her fashion show tonight.
She's hosting a party at Boulevard 3, where models will hit the catwalk in jewels from her House of Harlow line and threads from Clandestine Industries, Pete Wentz's clothing line.
The bash will also be filmed for the MTV series Styl'd. So how can you get your hands on the tickets?

Did Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Michelle Trachtenberg practically throw down over Pete Wentz at a star-studded Hollywood soiree?
Don't believe the hype—or, in this case, the Perez Hilton dramarama version.
Yes, the girls were seated in the same VIP section at Monday's DJ Hero event, where Eminem and Jay-Z performed. In fact, a source tells E! News, the two had been chatting cordially earlier in the evening.
Then, per our partygoing pal, Ash "definitely had one drink too many."
But while Perez says that a tipsy Ashlee ended up verbally attacking Michelle (accompanied by a new beau) about her dating Pete Wentz, we've learned things weren't that serious.

Pete Wentz's Bar Closed for Minor Drinking Problem

The watering hole that Pete Wentz co-owns in New York may have been catering to a few too many of the rocker's young fans.
Angels & Kings, located in Manhattan's East Village, has temporarily been shuttered by NYC authorities while they look into reports of underage drinking on the premises, the third time the venue has been cited.
A sign on the bar's front door states it has been "closed by court order" for allegedly serving the under-21 set.
Wentz, who is not a target of the investigation, co-owns Angels & Kings with some of the guys from Gym Class Heroes and Cobra Starship, as well as members of his management team.
"Building/bar closed for maintenance issues," is what it says on the bar's website, though according to the calendar, there's a party and open vodka bar tomorrow and karaoke night on Wednesday.
Pete Wentz Gets Bloggy on Behalf of "Invisible Children"

Pete Wentz has found himself a cause.
Out to show he's more than just another emo-rocking, Twitter-happy celeb, the Fall Out Boy frontman has taken to the Internet to raise awareness about—of all things—the urgent problem of child soldiers in Uganda.
Wentz writes in the Huffington Post that he got motivated after watching the film Invisible Children: Rough Cut about homeless kids in the African country abducted and forced to fight by rebel leaders.
"It was one of those times in my life where I was given a choice—continue ignoring the issue because it wasn't in front of me, or forget about myself and do something," he writes, urging people to participate in an April 25 event to bring attention to the plight of child soldiers.
