Would You Wear R.Pattz Down There?

Robert Pattinson, Underwear
More from The Awful Truth

Did you know vampires are the big rage right now? Yeahh, neither did we. Everybody seems to be shamelessly trying to cash in on anything fang related, especially sexually.

Yesterday we introduced you to the vampire-inspired sex toy Succu Dry, but for you Twilight lovers who are just slightly more PG, you can get Robert Pattinson...down there! Talk about invasion of privacy.

Behold: R.Pattz undies. They're not for sale, alas, but they do beg the question: Would you cross the line and wear 'em?

Zach Braff, Kanye Aren't the Only Celebs Still Alive

Kanye West, Grim Reaper, Zach Braff Kevin Mazur/Getty Images; Jim Spellman/Getty Images

Celebrity deaths can be tragic.

Or they can be tragically ridiculous.

Thanks to the Interwebs, fake celebrity deaths have been running rampant. Kanye West supposedly lost his life in a car crash this week, while Zach Braff recently had to create a video to prove he was still kicking despite tales of a fatal pill-popping episode.

And by now we know that any star rumored to have fallen off a cliff in New Zealand is more likely to have slipped into an Internet hoax. The Kauri Cliffs have supposedly taken Natalie Portman, Jeff Goldblum, Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks from us.

Some have died at the hands of Twitter and Wikipedia, while others have met dramatic driving demises. Needless to say, not all false death alarms were created equal. Some are definitely more believable than others.

Behold! The New Chaz Bono!

More from The Awful Truth

It looks like Chastity Bono's transformation is just about complete.

Like we reported ages ago, C.B. was undergoing a sex-change operation, and the first pics have surfaced of Chaz looking, well, shall we say a bit manlier. We don't know if the operation's happened yet, but the recent pics look different, no?

Even though Bono's proposed reality show with Cher may not have been a success (since it never actually got picked up), it looks like all is going according to plan in his personal life. So what do you think of the new Chaz?

Padma Lakshmi: Worst Top Chef Diner Ever?

Loading...

One Top Chef team named its restaurant Revolt, which is right up there with E. coli as a name you should never pick for an eatery.

However, it was the other team that drew the revolting looks from host Padma Lakshmi in this season's "Restaurant Wars" competition. For this episode, she seemed harder to please than gruff Tom Colicchio, who responds to nearly everything with a disapproving scowl or a sad, bemused grin. (Ash, we think, would agree.)

Things only got rougher when Lakshmi requested extra salt—for a dish she actually said she liked! To be fair, she may have been politely ordering it for her dissatisfied tablemates. (Or perhaps she was feeling under the weather due to her pregnancy? We hope not.)

Still, it could have been worse. At least she didn't ask for ketchup.

Vampire Wars: Who's the Best Heroine?

Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Nina Dobrev, The Vampire Diaries, Anna Paquin, True Blood Robert Voets/UPN; Quantrell Colbert/The CW; John P. Johnson/HBO
More from Watch with Kristin

We had an epiphany earlier this week: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Vampire Diaries and True Blood are all the same show (structurally speaking). All three vampire series are about an impossibly attractive and moderately magical heroine from small-town America who must balance the demands of friends and family with her problematic feelings for not one, but two sexy local vampires: a broody good one with an itchy conscience and a snarky bad one who likes to, um, eat women.

So, between now and Halloween, we'll be pitting the casts of our three favorite vampire shows (sorry, Moonlight) against each other in a little fan challenge we're calling Vampire Wars. We're setting up fights between characters from BTVS, TVD and TB in five competitions over the coming days, and the best out of five wins. You have to vote early and often in all five categories if you want your show to take home the trophy.

First up, tell us which vampire-show leading lady is tops: Buffy, Elena or "Sookeh" Stackhouse...

Is Paris Jackson the Next Paris Hilton?

Forget the Gosselin 8. Could we be getting the Jackson 3?

Earlier today, Us Weekly claimed that Michael Jackson's family was at odds over whether his trio of kids, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, should be included in The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, the reality show in the works for A&E and tentatively set to air in December.

Thankfully, a rep for the network now tells E! News that the kids "are not part of the show."

That statement directly contradicts the Us report, which quotes an unnamed source saying that Michael's eldest sister, Rebbie, is opposed to having his 12-, 11- and 7-year-old going Gosselin. We're not sure of the math, but the magazine does cite the show's executive producer, Jodi Gomes, as saying that they "have 23 castmembers with the last name Jackson"—supposedly including Janet Jackson and family matriarch Katherine.

"They've done a great job opening up about losing a brother," Gomes says.

UPDATE: In a new statement to E! News, an A&E spokesman seemed to allow for the possibility of the kids to be seen, if the family OKs it (and that remains a big "if")...

Dish or Disaster: Jennifer Lopez Cooks Up New Track

The oven mitts are off as Jennifer Lopez drops a new single.

"Fresh Out the Oven" has nothing to do with pizza or any other heated meals that deliver. It's a pop track by "Lola" and Pitbull, produced by the Neptunes.

We're not sure why Jenny from the Block needs to use yet another moniker, but they're attempting to get all viral by launching WhoIsLola.com, as well as an accompanying Twitter.

But we do know that Lola = J.Lo and that we haven't heard a new song from her in ages. However, after a couple listens to this one, that might have been for the best. Her love may not cost a thing, but what has "Oven" cost your eardrums?

Robert Pattinson, Rupert Grint: Ready for Royal Treatment?

We know Edward Cullen is dashing, but what's hotter than Robert Pattinson playing a real, honest-to-goodness prince?

If U.K. reports are to be believed—and that's a ginormous if—our favorite vampire may be in the running to take on the role of Prince Harry in an upcoming biopic.

Of course, he faces some heady competition, including a certain broomstick baron we also know and love…

Is "3" a Charm for Britney?

Britney Spears, 3 Single cover Courtesy Jive Records

We're happy Britney Spears is getting so much quality time with her sons, but she may want to scale back the Sesame Street marathons. And not just because her new, slightly phoned-in single, "3," could very well have been brought to us by the letters W, T and F.

The only new track to appear on her forthcoming compilation, The Singles Collection, the fun-with-numbers song—which debuted this morning on New York's Z100—features such thought-provoking lyrics as "everybody loves counting," "come out and play," and, oh yes, the ad nauseam repetition of "1, 2, 3."

Of course, the ménage à trois-promoting (and, oddly enough, Peter, Paul and Mary-referencing) tune isn't for the Big Bird set. Unless they too think that "living in sin is the new thing."

And it being a Britney track, we're well aware it's also not for the lyric-dissecting set. It's for the dance-floor set. And, since it happens to have been produced by Max Martin, the same guy responsible for Spears' career-launching "…Baby One More Time," we'd say it has a pretty good shot at becoming a hit.

Michael Jackson vs. Britney Spears: Pop Go the Singles!

Michael Jackson, Britney Spears Kevin Mazur/Getty Images

Get ready for two new singles from two—like it or not, Britney haters—pop icons: One whose recording career hasn't exactly been showing signs of life lately and the other whose, well, life hasn't exactly been showing signs of life lately.

That's right, just in case a feature-length documentary, unrelenting media coverage (you're welcome?) and a tribute milkshake weren't enough to slake the public's thirst for the King of Pop, Sony Music Entertainment today announced it will be releasing Michael Jackson's first posthumous single, "This Is It," Oct. 12.

We're guessing if sales go as hoped, this definitely won't be it...
